What is the difference between aborting and deleting?

Inside the leads management component, you will see a status labeled as "aborted". The "aborted" status does not delete the lead from your account, but rather marks it as "no longer pursuing". This status is useful for leads who may not proceed because the timing may be off any we may need to revisit them.

How to delete a lead (permanently):

Important: Once a lead has been deleted, you will be unable to recover the lead. This action is final.
