Mailchimp Integration
Guide on the Mailchimp integration
The Email Marketing integration can be done from the settings page.
Currently, only the following email marketing subscriptions are available to integrate with Data Bing Solutions Email Marketing tool:
Mailchimp
Constant Contact
Based on your email marketing provider, you can set up the integration with the instructions on screen from the respective settings page (ex: Mailchimp integration or Constant Contact Integration).
Important: If you have a mailchimp integration already set up, you will be unable to set up a different email marketing integration. If you do set up a different one on top of the integration you currently have set up, this change will override your old email marketing integration details.
Before configuring the integration, please review the important details below. If your account does not meet the criteria below, your API integration will be unsuccesful.
Important details to note:
In order to use this integration, you must have an active Mailchimp account.
In order for the API to work, you must have a premium Mailchimp account.
The setup must be configured by a member of your organization who has unrestricted access to your Mailchimp account and can generate an API Key.
Make sure to copy your API Key when you first generate it, otherwise, you will be unable to read the key again and will need to revoke the old key and create a new one.
In order to help keep your account safe, Data Bing will encrypt and store your key on the server side and your key will not be reachable from the client side.
If you revoke you API Key at any point in time, this integration will need to be reconfigured.
